I Dreamed I went to China

Have you ever wondered why you dream about going to places you have never been? Last night I had this dream I was in China and the Red Army was chasing me. I was running with these four Chinese people whom I am going to save. They spoke really good english, unlike the soldiers who were yelling angry words which sounded like Greek to me.

Anyways the Red Army was right on our tail. We were running through a small town, it was about dusk, the sidewalks were small and there were lots of plants and trees everywhere. We started to run up these wooden steps when all of a sudden I stepped down and heard this crack and I was falling, so I let out this blood curdling scream!

I knew the Red Army was going to get me. All I could imagine is torture, you know like being tied to a wooden rack and being stretched like a rubber band until you pop! I was so scared, the scream must've really been loud because, at that moment, my husband who was asleep beside me jumps up in the bed and yells .... Honey are you alright?

He woke me up when he jumped and I said, "Did I scream?" He says..."Yes! you scared me half to death, what are you screaming about, I started laughing and told him I was dreaming I was in China tyring to save these Chinese people and the Red Army was chasing me. He again told me, a little irritated at my laughter that I almost scared the pee out of him.

Needless to say, he gets up to go to the bathroom and I laid back down and went right back to sleep, but this morning he said he laid awake for over two hours after that because he couldn't go back to sleep.

A little while ago, I met him for lunch and he was telling me he was so tired because of my screaming and waking him up. It is so funny. I have woke myself up laughing before, but never have I screamed like that before! Hopefully tonight I won't be going to China, otherwise I may have to sleep in the living room. lol!
