WHAT MAKES A MOTHER'S DAY?

The title of the sermon at Fellowship.Com in Grapevine this week is the title of my blog. I think what makes my day is my kids making me laugh. I love to live as each moment were my last. We really don't know how many moments we will have. I cherish each day and try to stop for a few minutes and close my eyes and reflect on all the things I have to be thankful for and sometimes I even stop and let my Father know that I am out of answers and don't know what to do next and He speaks to me in that still quiet voice and reassures me..He is in control. Thank God I am not, because I know I would make a mess of things.

Today was the greatest, we went to church, the jest of the sermon was once a mother, always a mother, from the womb to the tomb. That is truth!!! You think when your kids grow up and leave home, it's all over, but it really just begins. After Church, I was walking out with Eddo, giving him my latest motherly speech concerning, My Plan for His Life. As we were talking I was telling him the truck I picked out for him was perfect cause it fit him. He said really loud, MOM!! ARE YOU SAYING I'M A PIMP, THAT TRUCK IS ALL TRICKED OUT!! haha, I laughed and looked around hoping no one heard that, knowing that everyone did. He was laughing and I was thinking to myself, what am I going to do with him? Anyone out there have any ideas???

Anyways as for the rest of the day, we went to The Cheesecake Factory in Frisco to celebrate my induction into Sainthood, it was lots of fun, I was given so many gifts that I really didn't deserve... Eddo gave me my own domain, how sweet!!, then his sister Samantha gave me a big Rock with Love, live and laugh on it, and a bottle of Ralph Lauren Blue, then Precious, my oldest gave me a bottle of Ralph Lauren Romance and told me I am finally going to be a gramma. What a wonderful Mother's Day!!!

I was so going to say something about being an uncle soon on my site, but Presh told me to keep it on the down low so I didn't say anything yet - but I guess the cat is out of the bag! YEAH!

Love ya ma!

Being a grandma is the best ever!!
I love my granddaughter. There's a pic of her on my blog :-)

Like you, I take every day to say I love you to my children and know that we are promised no tomorrows. Cherish each day as it arrives.
