Fourteen Boys Were Baptized!
Tuesday, July 19, 2005

This is a followup of a previous post. Fourteen boys were baptized on July 17, 2005, I will be posting pics later this week for all of you.
We had a wonderful time as we listened to each young man give an account of his life, of the past, of the day they received Christ as their Lord and Savior and of why they were being baptized.
Many of them were close to tears as they turned to face their peers. Some confessed hatred they had in their heart and asked for forgiveness and even asked if there were any who hated them to please lay it down.
I was so humbled and amazed at what God was doing in their lives. These kids are ex drug addicts, gang members and for them to almost break in front of their peers was amazing to me.
The peers who attended were clapping and encourging them. It was a wonderful time of seeing Christ at work softening hardened hearts and changing lives. I am so thankful God has allowed this work to be a part of my life. It humbles me each time I see him move in such an incredible way. One thing I know and believe is God is able to do abundantly more than I could ever ask or think and He works in the impossible realm.
I will post pics later this week. God Bless all of you!!!

"Praise the Lord" almost seems trite when you consider how significant those baptisms were. But I don't know how else to express it...so, "Praise the Lord!"
What a joy in seeing these lives anchored! The Glory be to God!!
