It's A Boy!
Saturday, July 02, 2005
Not too long ago, I posted about my daughter being pregnant. Well, we just found out it is going to be a boy!!! I am so excited, today I was reminded of Psalm 139:13-18. I really love all of Psalm 139, the first part talks about how we can never get away from God's presence, but as I think about this new baby who will become a special part of all our lives, I was thinking of how the Hand of God is creating him even now as I write this post, so I thought I would share this with all of you....
Psalm 139:13-18
13 O Lord, You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous--and how well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
16 You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God! They are innumerable!
18 I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up in the morning, you are still with me!
I am praying for him now even as I write this, one day I will hold him, and as I hold him I will tell him how much he is loved by the Lord and by his whole family. I am anxious to see this little guy that God has decided to bless us with!
