The Expo - The move to the Las Vegas Convention Center means that this will be the biggest Olympia expo ever. Big enough, even, to house an octagon ring filled with UFC fighters.
So how many of you out there are going to go to the Mr. Olympia 2005? Sound like fun? My son and nephew were planning to go but I am not sure if the trip is still on or not, but I thought it was an interesting idea, especially if you are into bodybuilding.
I never thought as a woman it was a very pretty sight to be all ripped and cut, however being slim and trim, toned and sculpted maybe but all those muscles?? Ughhhhh!!! You may have a different opinion from me, but I must say I do think it is pretty amazing that the human body can be so defined that you can see every muscle.
So I am curious, how many of you out there work out regularly? Do you run, swim, lift weights, have a personal trainer, and is it to lose weight, gain muscle or just to be physically fit? And are any of you body builders? Just wondering.....

Hmm. maybe we should go out for this year Dana.
hehe.
Cav, you are so funny!! I'm afraid for us to go out, we might win and the Ms. Olympia hopeful would so disappointed!!! HA HA
Oh yeah, we have that one in the bag! hahha
No seriously, I do work out. I swim, run (when I can), and walk. I try to atleast walk daily and swim every other day. On top of that I am trying to encorporate weights into my regime. And I do it to loose weight, and be healthy... being healthy my top priorty.
PS Please visit my blog (again) I need some prayer.
Msthang you know we got it in the bag, that's why we can't do it to the Ms. Olympian hopefuls, they would be crushed. lol!!
I know, I know.. all those ladies standing on stage hoping they were going to be the next Ms Olympian.. then we walk on stage and ruined everyone's chances. I overheard one of them saying they were going to go home if we showed up!
I have a home gym set up in the basement. Work out.. two, three times a week. Probably will do more, now since my son has been told by the doc to work out and lose some weight...
I used to play two games of football, two of tennis and two of racketball eavey week.
Then I got a sedentary job that worked me 63 hour per week.
I gained tons and now have heart trouble.
Hmmm.
Mom, this is not something I expected to see on your blog... The reason I cancelled the trip this year is because I want to compete next year and I don't want people to try to sign me to a contract just yet...
I'm not into the whole body building thing. And you can tell just by looking at me LOL!!
Seriously though, I do need to get back on track and lose some more weight and exercise. It's just finding the motivation or whatever to do it. Once I start I am ok and don't have any problem doing it...it's just to actually get out and do it...
I'm not into body building and don't think it flatters a woman very much. I would rather see some curves and a lot less muscle.
AS for me, I can walk! I enjoy going over to the park and walking on the preset paths. I usually do 2 1/2 miles a day, when I walk.
i think you could do it. I have a string bikini in a color that would look great.
yeah I body build but its mosty my stomach
I have always thought women bodybuilders who take it over the limit (like the ones shown here) are not healthy looking OR attractive. Maybe that's just me. My workouts consist of hiking, caving, and housework...in that order, sadly!
cav, why can't I get on your website? I have been trying for three days!!
