POISON IVY - OUCH!!!
I haven't posted in a few days because I had a severe allergic reaction to poison ivy! I usually get it every year, but this year benedryl and benedryl spray didn't affect it at all. I have it on both arms, then I got it on my eyelid, yuck! Then, it started to break out on my foot and my legs, so I decided it must be in my bloodstream. Sure enough I went to the doc and had to get a shot. She put me on steroids and gave me some cream, so it quit blistering, but the itch is still present. Guess next year before Poison Ivy season I better go get that shot that lasts for a year.
Don't ask me how I got it, only thing I can figure is my pomerainian had gotten into it or I got it from the air. All I know is I don't want it anymore. So tomorrow I will be back to blogging normally again!!

Oh no! You poor thing! I am glad you got the shot and its calming down...but I hope that itching stops! Get better soon!

I happened across you through Eddo- checking out his templates.
Yesterday my hair stylist happened to tell me about Zanfel. It's an OTC for poison ivy, poison sumac, etc. It's pretty expensive at $38 per tube- but cures in one day.

My poor mama! I hope it gets better fast too! I think you should try that Zanfel, I looked it up online and it says it will get rid of the itch in 30 seconds!! woo hoo!!
Awww, sorry to hear about your poison ivy encounter. I've never had it myself, thankfully, but I do hope you get that stuff the others mentioned so that you can get over it FAST!

I was about to mention to rush out and buy Zanfel too, it is worth it's weight in gold. Good thing, since it's about as expensive as gold. I recommended it to a co-worker last week, and he was so thankful and impressed. Oh well, now you know for next time!
