Preach the Gospel Always and When Necessary Use Words.
YES, YES I do!
I've gotten that feeling more than once, with those EXACT type of people!
It's written we would suffer persecution in His name. It's to be expected.. though never pleasant. Non-believers always assume we're a bunch of hypocrites. And it's easy to see why, when every mistake made by the church gives them reason to shout "See! Why should I go when none of you practive what you preach?" Some of the TV 'evangelists' don't help the cause, either.
Like Ed says, church is for the sick of spirit just as a hospital is for the physically ill.
lol! that's good Mike, I have been known to be at a loss for words at times.
Oh Great One
I am glad I am not the only one who has been there and felt that way.
Bonnie,
Me Too!
FTS,
That is so true
Mike--St Francis of Assisi--love it! I knocked on the door of a very large guy who visited our church and wanted a visit. It was dark, no porch lite and there was no light on inside. When he answered the door, looming over me, he looked just like the cartoon. :)
