Harlem GlobeTrotters!

Sunday, January 29, 2006

The Harlem Globe Trotters will be at the American Airlines Center on Feb. 4, 2006 and I am going to see them. I try to go every year because I absolutely love basketball and these guys make me laugh. I just enjoy the whole show, the little upcoming Globe Trotters, the Acrobats, Globie and everything involved.

Anyways I won't be blogging for about two days, I will at the Boys Ranch, then going to see my mother in Okla. City, so until then.....

It wasn't until you said the American Airlines Center did it click that we are pretty darn close to one another. (shows how well I put 2 & 2 together!)

That sounds like an awful lot of fun.

I remember when I was a kid they were the coolest thing, we all wanted to be like them!

Comedic basketball must be good for you. Those guys look as young as they did when I first saw them when I was a kid!

Hi! Well, what do you think? Is it too much (this picture)? What do you think about the new site? The new site is wonderful, I think. I was going to email your son and ask him if this picture that you see here could have blue eyes instead of this green color, but I felt too intimidated. Besides, he couldn't actually change the color of the eyes, could he? It isn't technically possible, is it? Do you know? Maybe I'll ask him, maybe I'll wait and ask him later. Oh, I loved your suggestion about the GC from SB, and will be doing that, hopefully, ASAP, but am going out of town Wed until next week, and don't know if I'll get to it tomorrow before I leave, but hopefully. God bless you! Hope Sunday was good. I prayed for you when I was at church Sunday. And your Moms, hope that was blessed. Mothers!I'm so over-the-top when it comes to being a mother, I think, because I want to try not to make the same mistakes or perhaps even to fix my being-mothered-experience. Do you get where I am coming from? Oh, BTW, isn't God great? Oh the treasure we have in these jars of clay of ours! In what new way has He showed Himself how much He loves you today? (You don't have to formally answer, just questions for thought.)

I saw them in San Bernardino, California several years ago. Even though it wasn't the Globetrotters I remembered, it was still a fun time.
