I Just Wanna Thank You!
Saturday, February 11, 2006

Have you ever heard of the Katinas, I thought I would share one more song I love to listen to. Again, it touches me deeply, Amazing Grace is more than just a song.
Just a little while longer I wanna pray
Can't get You off my mind, so I came to say
Thank you Lord, just for loving me, alright
Many times I do forget
Every need that You have met
Oh thank you Lord, I know you're showing me
You are there when I am down and out
You're holding me, your love is so amazing
Oh it changed me
Here I am with all I have
Raise my hands to worship you
For everything for who you are
You cover me, you touch my heart
I wanna say thank you
I could have died in my sin but you saved me
Didn't have any hope at all
You gave me peace divine, strength to carry on
I should have been the one to pay
But instead You took my place
Amazing grace, it's more than just a song
Even though I don't deserve Your love for me
You looked beyond my fault and You showed me mercy
I hope these lyrics blessed your life as they have mine. I'll be gone for a few days, my mom is ill and I have to travel to Oklahoma, so send up a prayer for her if you will.

OK, I know this is spiritual and everything, but I gotta say it: These guys are H-O-T. I mean HOT.
Thanks Darlene.
In Buenos Aires. My quiet time this morning at 5:30 am as I was riding the bus in (12 hr trip) was just prayer and listening to Christian music on my iPod. Thanks Lord. It was really great. But I gotta read Romans 12. Reading a chapter a day. God bless you.
Hope your mother is better. :)
We play the Katinas on our station, which can be heard at kingdom.fm
nice song:-) and cute guys..tee-hee come by my site n e time..Lori
God bless your mom. I am so sorry to hear that she is ill. The words to the song were beautiful. It made me think, why did God choose me? Why do I love God? Why do I get to inherit such great treasures? Oh Dana, it is going to be so amazing to fall at His feet and worship Him, and to see Him face to face and to find ourselves like Him as He says, "Well done, enter into my kingdom." "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man, all that the Lord has prepared for those who love Him." May God sustain you, Dana, as you visit your mom, and may He restore her health. Andrea
Katinas came to Melbourne just recently, and it was soooo good to see them and be encouraged by their singing and sharing :)
Thanks for the touching lyrics. What a great song!
As I write this, I am praying for you and your mom. I'm so glad you will be with her when she needs you. Have a safe trip.
I just re-read this and realized I missed the part about your Mom. I am so very sorry, and hope for the best. You're in my prayers, and I won't make any more comments about the hot guys. Promise. ;o)
Yes, I love them!!
Very nice!
I suppose Mike was not referring to the guys, who I hear are very hot.
*LOL*
Happy Valentine's Day Dana!
Jesus loves you very much.
Wonderful lyrics, wish I could hear the music.
You and your mother are in my prayers. God bless~
Sorry to hear about your Mom. Prayers for you both.
Happy V and Lupercalia Day, sweetie!!! xoxoxo
I just came back to check out those guys, because on my little phone with the internet wireless connection, I didn't really get a good look at them. Actually, I came back because I wrote about a woman who was HOT and referenced this comment section in my blog, because I think this whole conversation, and topic about
HOT men and women is funny and, uhh, deep, actually. (But I did look at them to analyze their hotness.)
PS. Blessings to you and your mom, hope that you are blessed and that you are not sad and then come back to read these comments and see how we are all enjoying ourselves here. Sort of like, well, this is a stretch, but like when Moses went on the mountain to receive the ten commandments and the people left behind were having a party and made a golden cow. Well, maybe that anaology isn't too much of a stetch. We'll just call you Mo.
Saur's comment is so funny...
I love this song, I didn't realize it was all dudes- I think there is a woman in the group - mom, are you sure you have the right Katinas?
The lyrics are great, thank you! I pray you will have a safe journey and that your mother will be blessed with health and happiness that you are with her. May God watch over you and your family! Happy Valentine's Day!

I like the Katinas. Me and a group of guys at our church have done a few of their songs...including I Want To Thank You.
Hi. I responded to your comments on my blog. I rewrote them here to you find them:
I don't know, but maybe God is trying to show You that He is there, that He sees. You know, the greatness of how He works, but also HE must be saying something also about those particular scriptures and truths. May He show You what He is saying and may You hear and seek (not in that order perhaps). May the Lord continually bring your mom and you to my mind that I may pray for you both. May God hold you in what must be a difficult time. Oh, that is so wonderful about the dinner time hour that you all (yall) have. Praise God for that. May He continue to find a place to dwell and rest in your home and may He protect you all in the palm of His great right hand, as He does.
