Psalms 91:1,2 "You who dwell in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty, Say to the LORD, "My refuge and fortress, my God in whom I trust."
Today I am trusting Him in every situation, I am not going to doubt, I am going to rest in knowing He loves and cares for us. I am not going to try to handle things on my own, I am going to ask Him for guidance, wisdom and strength to do what I need to do when I need to do it and to take the things that are beyond my control, working them out in the way He feels is best for me. I am going to church to be ministered to this morning, to get my cup filled up with love, from the source of life who said I will never thirst again.
The weather has been overcast for two days now and I just felt as I read Psalms 91 this morning that the overcast was due to the fact that I am under the shadow of the Almighty. I am in His protection, in His will and all I have to do right now is surrender it all to Him.

Have you ever read "Hinds Feet on High Places"? I love that book. Thanks for the inspirational blog today.
"All I have to do right now is surrender it all to Him."
Oh! Is that all?
Sometimes I wonder why it seems so hard to let go and let God.
I heard a sermon yesterday about fear and the future. John 3:16 was read and then a question asked; "How could you EVER question God's provision for you for tomorrow and for eternity?" Isn't that great?
this is a great challange for each of us. thanks for sharing your heart.
blessings!

btw..saw you over at no average girls' place.
I love how the Lord ministers to us through one another!!!
The 91st Psalm is my favorite, also my mother and grandmother's favorite.
This is even more of a blessing considering our off-line communications.
God Bless You!
It is so hard to surrender all...a constant daily battle with self. I love that old phrase, "Let go and Let God."
The best position of all is a position of total trust in Him.
Thanks for a great post!
We had an awesome sermon yesterday about trusting in God. It was based upon Genisis 22: 1-19
I sometimes forget to trust in Him to always provide. His plan is bigger than mine & He keeps his promises. We need to learn to "trust & obey".
Yesterday I put everything (in my heart) on the alter as a sacrafice to Him & I know I can trust in Him to take it from there.
Great post!
Just surfing over from HeavenlyHeartburn's site...isn't it good to know we are under the shadow of His wings?
Mom your site is always so positive and inspirational.
This is a good post. Thanks for the challenge.
"Trust and obey..."
Oh, I already commented here!
Hi LLL
Trust in the Lord with all your heart>
Cool LLL
Thanks Sis

I think that's a great plan...and one we all should follow every day!
It is a trust which will never be misplaced if it is placed firmly upon the Word and in Jesus.

Too many times we think we can handle things without the Lord's help. We are wrong, we do need the Lords help and guidance. Hope your mom is doing better.
