Shopping Blahs!

I haven't been in the mood to go shopping lately. Just the thought of all the crowds has me boycotting the stores. I went the other day to buy my mother some groceries, a heater and electric blanket and I couldn't wait to get out of there. Walmart has horrible customer service. Why did they put in fifty lanes if they are only going to open two? Go Figure...

Yeah..nowadays I prefer going to the neigbourhood convenience store to buy kitchen stuffs rather than having to queue up in hypermarkets! I hate the crowd too.. I only go there during work hour since I work flexible hours when not many customers flooding in..

I so agree! I used to love to shop, now I can't tell you the last time I went to the Mall. The crowds and their manners are awful!

Got caught up with your blog! It struck me. So, you are one of those "godly grandmothers" that have such a great historical reputation. A Proverbs 31 doll. Sounds wonderful!

LOL...during the holidays, I only go to Walmart in the day when I absolutely have to. I prefer to go after midnight, when the crazies go home!

Online shopping is the way to go - and frequently, no taxes. As far as Wally World goes, I'll only go there in the off hours .... it's like Creature Cantina otherwise. Hang in there. :)

I hate that 50 lanes,2 open thing! I practically refuse to go to Walmart at all...
We do have a nice one down the street but the closer one is a mess.
I prefer the madness of the mall this time of year...haha

While we were in the US I went to Walmart one Saturday morning and said never, ever again. It totally stressed me out.
So sad that your niece was told she couldn't take her Bible to school. I doubt if it's even true unless she was preaching on the playground or something.
Your testimony is so cool. Last time I read your blog you were describing how your marriage was almost finished and now you are describing how godly your husband is. What an amazing God we have!!!

I've noticed that Walmart no longer has the signs that read "At Walmart you're always next in line."

Ironic.

Walmart is a vortex that can swallow you up if you're not careful. I only go there for big grocery shopping trips with a detailed list. For the random stuff needed a few times a week I fork out the extra money at our local market just to get in and out quickly without getting sidetracked.
