Don't Be Anxious!

Sunday, March 11, 2007

It is not work that kills men, it is worry. Work is healthy; you can hardly put more on a man than he can bear. But worry is rust upon the blade. It is not movement that destroys the machinery, but friction.
Henry Ward Beecher
As I travel this journey called life, I am learning to trust. Day by day, moment by moment, I do not know what the day holds, but He does. I don't know the whys, I don't understand everything. I make mistakes, I fall sometimes, but I get up and I continue. Things happen in the lives of people I love and in the lives of my friends, but this is life. If there were no struggle, there would be no strength. He has my back, His banner over me is love. I will never give up or quit and I refuse to let Satan win in any area of my life.
I KNOW MY REDEEMER LIVES!

That is always seems to be something for us all to remember , and the hardest to remember? But if the Lord were not patience with us we would be in a lot of trouble! Gods word teaches us to be anxious to receive his Love and to be patient when we share it with others? Blessings To You! Ron.

Amen Sister!!!! And may our Great and Faithful God carry and guide you continually on this Journey of Life. May you sense His gentle push and leading on the upward climb, and may His cool breeze refresh you on those steep and fast paces downward. May he be like bumper-guards for you around those fast curves, and may you fall into his loving arms on those sudden stops!!! I am praying for you today, my blogger friend!!!!!

Hi There.

You are quite right about no strength without struggle. And using 'struggle' as a blanket word for much in our lives, I have learned a great thing.

If we were to do everything that God commanded us to do because He had made us that way, then we would not have free will.

It is our free will that causes us problems. For in Eden, after eating from the forbidden tree, Adam and Eve knew the difference between good and evil.

Satan the Accuser is used by God to get us to do other than God asks. As we have free will and in some way a knowledge of good and bad we have a choice to make. This is our free will in operation.

We must make the choice for good or bad, and the more we choose to do good, the stronger we become.

And as you say, when we fail, we repent, turn to God and seek not to make the same wrong choice. And in His Righteousness, Loving Kindness, Faithfulness, Mercy and Steadfast Love our God will forgive.

Blessed Be The Name Of The LORD!

Just Passing Through.

God Bless.
