I Can't Stop Laughing!

You don't stop laughing because you grow old; you grow old because you stop laughing. — Michael Pritchard
This week I have been training a new officer and we have had so much fun. We have so much in common, I love to laugh and have a good time when I am working or whatever I am doing. Sometimes I even laugh to keep from crying and sometimes I laugh so hard I cry. Sometimes the things that happen on my shift are so ridiculous that I can't keep from laughing.
Anyway, last night and the night before, we had some down time so I was telling her this funny story and she started laughing. Well, when someone starts laughing til they are crying it gets me to laughing and I can't tell my story, so we are both laughing so hard, my stomach was hurting so bad. I just wanted to stop laughing. It was great!
The bible says, " A merry heart doeth Good like a medicine. " Proverbs 17:22
So today I hope all of you have a good laugh, it sure felt good!!

I love to laugh...being too serious all the time gets me down. That verse is one of my favorites, in fact I had it in stained glass hanging in my kitchen window. I'm glad the Lord provided you with moments of sheer joy - He's good to us, isn't He?!

Dana, I try to find the humor in almost everything. It really helps to have a lite attitude about the day-to-day mishaps.

I remember laughing all the time when I was in school. EVERYTHING was funny. The class clowns loved me because I totally encouraged them. The teachers always had to tell me to "stop giggling!" I love that word, giggling. :)

I wish you much joy and laughter!

They are 9 & 7 and at that sensitive stage . When they wrote that song " Don't worry - Be happy " they wrote it for me ! Glad to see you are better ! Blessings. Ron.

Dana, laughter is a great medicine. My husband used to train new officers for four years before he retired. I'm glad the two of you are having a good time together.
