Just A Thought!

Thursday, March 20, 2008

I was thinking which is normal for me, I always have these thoughts come in my mind and people are always saying things like where do you get that stuff from and I tell them it came from my mind so I guess God must have given me the thought. I tend to think deeply about the things I care about.

I was thinking about how there is such immorality among Christians. Anyway the thought came to me....that many of us would never defile the church, which is a man made building, but the temple of God which is God's house, which is our Body, we take no thought about. I was thinking God created one, man created the other. Many would not think of bringing a pornographic movie to the church house man made, yet would sit in this temple God made and watch one, hmmmm. Many would be careful not to utter a curse word in the church house made by man, but it comes out of the house God created. Many would not utter a dirty joke in a church house made by man, yet it comes out of the house God created. So .... we try to make this man made house that we call the church seem like such a holy place, but we are walking around in GOD'S HOUSE, we are HIS TEMPLE, when are we going to care about the one He created.

Hi Dana,

A good thought and very true ? Amen ! There is a lot of truth in that and many young couples that have children that don't use proper language wonder where there children get it from ?

Blessings and Happy Easter to you and Family !

I agree. Its sad. I know for myself for years I was a backslider and once I came back to the Lord one thing that really has stuck with me is that we literally 'grieve' the Holy Spirit that resides within us as Christians when we sin.

I try to remind myself that I am actually causing God pain when I sin. He is hurt over my sin.

My big pet peeve is those who willfully sin, because they are forgiven. They use it almost as an excuse. They need a big dose of Romans 6.
Sorry to go on and on.
