The Journey

You walk along this journey not sure of where it leads,

Education, careers, relationships, satisfying needs.

Is it or can it be that it is all futile and without meaning,

God is in control, so surely some of it is redeeming.

I am where I am now, I don't know where I am going,

I just want His will and not mine, no more which way the wind is blowing.

No tossing and turning to this and that,

Person to person, needless chat.

God needs no one to carry out His plan,

Just stop cause it ain't workin, and follow His commands.

He leads where we don't follow, the spirit is willing, flesh is weak,

From this moment on....only His face will I seek.
